Holthouse Foundation for Kids a Chairman-Level Sponsor for BigTent Conference in Houston

Holthouse Foundation for Kids will participate as a chairman-level sponsor in the BigTent Conference in Houston Nov. 18 to 20 at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

More than 3,000 community and business leaders, youth-serving professionals, educators and youth from all over the United States will gather under one “big tent” for this first-of-its kind event. The conference seeks to link all individuals with a deep understanding of the issues our children, communities and families face--and encourages listening, learning and working together.

"This is an extraordinary opportunity for Houston," said Michael Holthouse, founder of Holthouse Foundation for Kids. "The BigTent is the perfect environment to make a plan to educate kids not only in academics, but also in life skills and social and emotional learning. It brings together all the different movements supporting youth, so we can find common ground as we all work to grow great kids," said Michael Holthouse.

More than 150 workshops about 21st century learning, whole child development, entrepreneurship, workforce readiness, juvenile justice and more are slated for the three-day conference.
